7 ways to increase productivity

If you are an employee, increasing productivity is an important factor in helping you advance in your career. If you are a leader, increasing business productivity can help improve business results and help businesses stay ahead, predict business ups and downs better than other businesses. Whoever you are, productivity is the top issue you need to take care of if you want to achieve your long-term goals in work and life.

1. Start with yourself

If you want to increase the productivity of your business, start with your own workday first. Striving to make yourself productive will not only boost your company's productivity, but it will also help you figure out which method is right for you ( or your employees).

2.Set a deadline and tell everyone about it

With open tasks or projects that don't have a clear deadline, set a deadline yourself to motivate yourself to work harder. When you notify others of your self-imposed deadline, you will be more responsible for meeting the deadline.

3. Work for about 90 minutes

People without methods operate linearly, and rich people operate non-linearly.

Studies have shown that: The human brain can focus on any task for about 90 - 120 minutes. After 90 minutes, productivity will start to drop, we need a break of about 20 minutes to restore energy and ensure high performance in the next working session. To maximize productivity, divide your workday into 4-5 90-minute sessions, each completing a certain number of tasks.

4.Rest more often

Studies show that taking short breaks helps maintain better concentration and prevents decline in performance. Taking a break from focusing on a task for 1-2 minutes, about 2-3 times an hour, helps you focus better throughout the long working day. Besides, exercise at least once a day.

5.Follow the 2 minute rule

If a task takes only 2 minutes to complete, do it immediately. You will spend less time on it, compared to coming back to finish it later. Here's a simple rule from the book "Getting Things Done" by David Allen.

6.Invest in technology products that save time and effort
The purpose of technology is to increase efficiency and save business time, so if it takes a full-time staff to maintain the technology, or your employees are constantly having problems, then that technology product is not right for your business.

7.Done is better than perfect - mark Zuckerberg
Everything you do should be done as quickly as possible, and then receive feedback to edit, rather than wasting time trying to make it perfect.

create your own world.

To design your life effectively, you must learn the difference between skills and talents and align your talents with the path you want to take. That’s why I’ve put together a 3-step process you can use to establish a new direction, utilize your talents, and pinpoint the skills that will take you to the next level. This is the same process I’ve used for getting unstuck in my own life, and I firmly believe it can work for you too. here is the 3 most important tips: 1. Identify where you want to go. It’s important to have your end goal in mind at the start of this process so you know where you’re going. Knowing you simply want things to change is not enough. You also need some idea of  how you’d like things to be . So ask yourself…if you could wave a magic wand and make your life look like anything you want, what would it look like? Where would you live? What would you be most excited about? Who would you spend most of your time with? How would you feel when you wake up in the...
